Hey, my name is Sam

From wedding days to family adventures, I capture real moments with a documentary approach and an editorial eye.

Hey, I’m Sam.


I’m a family and wedding photographer from Bexley, London, and a mum of five, so spotting chaos before it happens is basically second nature. Thankfully, that comes in very handy at weddings.


I photograph weddings in a way that feels natural, honest and completely you. I’m there to document the moments as they happen rather than turning your day into one long photoshoot.


My approach is documentary at heart. I like to blend in, quietly observe and capture the in-between moments, the laughter, the happy tears, the people you love, the little details and all the things you didn’t even realise were happening.


I’m not really a stand here, smile at the camera kind of photographer. I don’t want you spending your wedding day lining people up for endless group photos or following a twelve-page shot list. I’d much rather give you the freedom to actually enjoy your day while I create photographs that feel genuine.


That doesn’t mean we won’t create beautiful portraits together. I’ll guide you when you need it, especially if you’re not naturally comfortable in front of a camera, but I want everything to feel effortless rather than overly posed.


You’ll probably notice an editorial influence in my work. I love fashion, beautiful styling, incredible venues and photographs that feel a little bit like they belong in a magazine. But ultimately, I want them to still feel real.


A little movement. A little chaos. A stolen glance. Wind in your hair. Someone laughing when they weren’t supposed to.


Perfect is lovely, but personality wins every time.


I specialise in intimate weddings, London town halls and elopements, including Marylebone Town Hall, Chelsea and Islington, alongside destination weddings further afield.


I deliberately take on a limited number of weddings each year so that I can give every couple the time, creativity and attention they deserve.


So if you’re looking for photographs that feel less posed, more personal, and completely yours, I think we’ll get on brilliantly.

I know what you’re thinking where am I in all of this? Truth is, I’m incredibly awkward in front of the camera (honestly, painful). That’s why there aren’t many photos of me here. But it’s also why I shoot the way I do, documentary, natural, full of movement because I know how it feels to freeze up when a lens is pointed at you. These photos of my kids are my favourites: the real, unposed, blink-and-you’ll-miss-it kind of moments.
